Prickly Box Honey 325g

Made in Tasmania this sought after honey is highly seasonal. The Prickly box (Bursaria spinose) is native to Tasmania, producing small, white, scented flowers during summer. Bees access the Prickly Box nectar on the warm hills in southern Tasmania’s Coal River Valley. The honey produced is golden, bright yellow in colour with a nutty caramel flavour. It is perfect for accompanying cheese platters, sweetening tea or coffee and smothered over buttered toast.

Wellington Apiary honey is not heated at any stage of extraction or bottling, ensuring all the natural goodness remains. This honey is organically produced, cold extracted and coarse filtered, allowing all the pollen, flavours and aromas to be retained – resulting in pure raw Tasmanian honey, just as the bees made it.
