All EAU BAGS are slow-made and handcrafted by skilled artisans in their dedicated studio in India. The stripes are made from recycled nylon - an upcycled material created from waste like discarded fishing nets, old carpets and factory off-cuts. These materials are collected, cleaned and melted down before being spun and hand-dyed into new nylon yarn. The yarn is then woven into durable striped fabric before being cut, stitched and assembled by hand into your bag.

Because these materials have lived a life before becoming an EAU BAG, you may notice subtle variations in colour, texture or stitching. These are not defects, but part of the bag’s story - proof it was made by real hands, from materials that once existed elsewhere.
